ANDALOU Naturals

During this past year I have discovered that my skin type has changed.  I went from having completely dry skin to combination skin.  I have issues like most women in my T-zone, well with me, not my entire T-zone just my nose.  There are times where my nose is so oily I can grease my elbows with the amount of oil that accumulates on my nose.  So for this past year I have been looking for products that help even everything out.

Last week my Mom and I took a trip to MOMS organic market.  I came across ANDALOU Naturals (fruit cell stems).

While at MOMS I went through each product they had and discovered MOMS prices were a bit much. Since I wasn't sure about what I wanted to purchase I decided to go with the Clarifying Starter Kit, which was priced at $19.99.

My experience with these products..... I decided to try it the first day I got it.  The Vitrus Kombucha Cleansing Gel is pretty good.  I like the smell of it and it didn't feel like it burned my skin.  After washing my face, I went in with the Willow Bark Pore Minimizer.  As soon as I opened the bottle the entire thing bust open... Not good... Not sure what happened there.  I then used the Beta Hydroxy Complex Recovery Cream.  Again, loving the smell of it.

According to the packaging it says to use the products two tines a day for better results.  So the next morning I washed my face with the cleansing gel, I used some toner I already had (from Lush) and used the oil free moisturizer.  Not bad, but I could feel the dryness in those areas where I need more moisture.  I did go out and found the toner to use so I could to make the kit complete.

By the end of the week, I notice that my skin was painfully dry while my nose (my problem area) was still oily.  My skin feels as if it's peeling.  It feels as I can not use anything to make this feeling go away.

I soon realized that this product is not for me.  I decided to go back using my regular products.

I am not saying its a good product.. I think it is but this kit isn't for me.  I need a product that is for both my dry skin, and oily skin.
